Recreation
Outside the theme parks, Walt Disney World offers a range of free and paid recreational options. A complete list of recreational activities, along with reservations and pricing, if applicable, is available here.
Among the paid experiences are two miniature golf courses (Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland), fishing excursions, boat rentals, bike rentals, horseback riding, Surrey bike rentals, and more.
Free-of-charge options are primarily found at resort hotels and include sports courts, fitness centers, walking/jogging trails, supervised children's activities, campfires, arcades, community halls, Movies Under the Stars, playgrounds, swimming pools, and more.

Disney Springs
This downtown shopping and dining district is home to a range of casual and fine restaurants, Disney and third-party shopping locations, and endless entertainment experiences, making it the hub of activity outside the Parks. Guests may visit using resort bus transportation or by parking free of charge at one of three Disney Springs parking garages – Grapefruit, Lime, and Orange.

Classic Disney Activities
There's no shortage of ways to keep younger Guests entertained throughout their stay, but aside from the Parks and recreational offerings, here are some classic children's activities you can only experience in Disney.

Disney Pin Trading
Pin Trading is a longstanding, favorite tradition for the young and young at heart. This free activity allows Guests to exchange trading pins with Cast Members anywhere across property. Disney Trading Pins and wearable lanyards are available for purchase online or at merchandise locations throughout Walt Disney World.
Once you arrive on property, look for Cast Members wearing Pin Trading lanyards or waist pouches, ask to see what pins they have available, and decide whether or not you want to trade one of your pins for one of theirs. You may also find special Disney Pin Trading boards at select locations, which offer larger collections to choose from. Hidden Mickey Hunting
This scavenger hunt has been around since Walt Disney World opened, and it has become a classic Guest favorite over the years. Disney's Imagineers are known for leaving no detail overlooked, and they have carefully designed Hidden Mickey's throughout Disney property. Three circles resemble the silhouette of Mickey Mouse's iconic head, and these details are hidden everywhere – whether embedded in walkways, designed into building architecture, or even hidden in the landscaping! So look high and low everywhere you go, and challenge yourself to find as many Hidden Mickey's as you can during your visit.

Dinner Shows
Walt Disney World is home to two one-of-a-kind family dinner shows that offer all-you-care-to-enjoy plated meals included with the cost of show admission.
